A waterproof sealing product such as ge clear gutter caulk available on amazon is easy to use.
How to fix hole in gutter.
You can buy gutter caulking compound online.
This will provide security against water and make it last a little longer.
Feather the roofing cement out on the surrounding area to flatten any steep edges.
Locate the hole then remove all loose debris such as moss leaves and twigs from around the damaged area.
Use a putty knife to spread the cement generously around the hole.
Patch small holes with roofing cement.
Simply squeeze into cracks and holes then apply a further coating around the entire gutter joint.
Press it towards the gutter and leave it to dry.
Apply silicone or special gutter caulking compound along the seams on the inside and outside to seal the leaks as shown above.
Once the metal dries rub it with an abrasive pad then wipe away dust and allow to dry completely.
Just make sure the patch covers the entire hole and some of the space around it.
Carefully bring the hose up the ladder with you and move the spray and debris towards the downspout opening.
Once you ve removed the bigger pieces of debris use a hose to wash the remainder down the gutter s downspout.
Allow the area around the hole to air dry for a few hours.

After the new gutter patch is completely dry you can cover it with some sealant to finish the repair.
Trim the metal patch slightly smaller than the cemented area and firmly press it down.
Clean around the damaged area with a brush and warm soapy water to remove more stubborn.
